assalamualaikum...
apa khabar..? lama dah sy tak berblog. rindu giler.. fyi, sy tengah puasa sunat.. puasa internet.. hoho.. wi-fi kat sini lembab dah tahap lebih lambat drpd siput.. mcm sloth mungkin.. dah seminggu gak la tak bukak internet.. teror kan.. padahal jiwa terseksa sedikit demi sedikit.. cewah.. thanks to annye, pinjamkan laptop..
actually, sy agak gembira dan tersentuh membaca comment2 anda pasal my latest post aritu.. rilek la.. i'm still a good girl.. tapi sekarang ni, sy pun tak tahulah.. diri ini semakin tidak mempunyai perasaan.. kadang2, sy sudah malas mahu berfikir psl org lain dan jadi terlalu baik.. sedangkan mereka tak pernah peduli tentang perasaan kita kan.? and i have a mission to complete.. i want to study and be a great person in the future.. insyaallah.. gambatte ne! just a few weeks to go.. =D
btw, i wanna share something with you all especially for sheffield's student.. ain zubaidah contacts one of the senior there.. and asking about life at sheffield, hostel, laptop and so on.. HIS name is ikram yg dikatakan agak hensem.. hahaha..=p
hei
lets start with computer
what people usually do is they bring their own laptop here
because the price here is slightly higher and its definitely worth buying all these techie stuff from home
over here to get a simple cable connector kinda cost u whereby in malaysia u can get it for free
Living in rent house or student accommodation has always been an issue here
living in house meaning u'll be using less money coz its obviously a lot cheaper
and make things a lot easier for u when ur living with malaysian's only
but then ur social circle won't expand much
Living in hostel meaning u will be staying with random people
don't worry, they usually divide according to gender
it is a little expensive, but quite worth it
u'll learn how to get to know other ppl, its not that hard really coz everyone is a fresher and quite open to make friends
u can cover the accommodation fee using the huge sum of money that mara will give and the 2000 pound given by university.
dont worry everyone gets it. there are 4 main accommodation here;ranmoor, endcliffe, taptop and city centre. The nearest to the lecture hall would be city centre
but if u dont mind walking 30 minutes prior to class, then choose whatever u want. I live in endcliffe and i personally like it here coz its abeautiful place and definitely worth walking. And yes it is fun hehe
Yeah, it is all up to u where do u wanna stay. I chose to live in hostel bcoz i want to know how does it feel to be university student. I wont be able to do it completely if i had live in rent house coz its like being back in malaysia again. I mean there are plenty of time to stay with fellow malaysians after your 1st year.
But then if u live in a rent house, that doesn't mean u'll restrict urself only to malaysians, there are a lot of ways to get to know other people. U can do so by joining clubs here. There are plenty of interesting stuff here; sports club, volunteering club, even sewing club and cooking club. So fair day, sports day are a must events. There is where all clubs will open their stalls and u can check 'em out from there
Sorry to trouble you with such a long email
Hope this help,
Ikram
excited kan baca e-mail dia..? to others, try to contact your seniors.. maybe they can help.. if there are any information regarding sheffield's stuffs, i'll let you know..
don't miss me.. i won't update my blog for a week.. haish.. internet oh internet.. =)
