drax visit

assalamualaikum

semalam, kami warga chemical engineering department ada industrial visit kat DRAX company. basically, this company generates electricity from coal. For now, they are trying to use biomass as it will reduce the carbon dioxide emissions, reduce the pollutions, save money and this is what we call as "green electricity". An interesting fact is that the biomass is supplied from Malaysia.! yeah, Malaysia boleh.! =D

conclusion: being a chemical engineer is fun.!

my fuel and energy utilization lecturer sangat best. did you know, we are the one who cause more pollutions compared to the industrial plan.? yes we are.! she said, "i feel guilty when i drive my car as it contributes to the pollutions." it sounds silly, but she really mean it.! i guess, the true engineer will have the same feelings. but not me.! hehe. =D
