my sister's keeper

hye peeps..

i'm home again.. have some plan this weekend.. i'm so excited to meet my beloved babes..! i miss u all like hell.. =)

yeah, finally i'm done reading my sister's keeper novel.. an incredible novel that will hook you from the first page and not let go.. kan kak fadhe? berbaloi rm32.90.. haha.. =D

basically, this novel is about Kate who suffers from leukmia.. Her mom, Sara did the IVF so that she can have a baby which will be Kate's match.. luckily i've learn biology as there are lots of scientific terms like lymphoctyes, granulocytes and more.. Jodi Picoult will put yourself in every character and you can feel it is so real.. and i cried when reading this novel..

i knew a kid name Ainol who diagnosed to have leukmia when he was 3 years old.. first time i met him during hari raya open house 2 years ago.. he was an active, cute, and bald boy.. 

last year, dia dah kritikal.. i tanya ibu, 

"do he need a bone marrow transplant? tak de sesiapa ke dalam ahli keluarga dia yang match?" 

"unfortunately, NO.!"

"ibu, can i donate my bone marrow for him?"

"haish, jangan main-main.. ini perkara serius.. mana taw nanti lumpuh ke.."

"i've made my own research.. its all fake.. everything gonna be OK.."

"NO YOU CAN'T"

sometimes, i felt regret that i didn't go for check up whether i'm his match or not.. at least, i can help.. but its too late.. Allah loves Ainol more.. Al-Fatihah.

whenever i read this novel, i try to put myself in their shoes.. i can feel how to be Kate, Sara, Anna, Brian and Jesse.. The crisis when you have a child who waiting to die.. sampaikan terbawa-bawa dalam mimpi.. thats the power of imagination! 

kalau takdir satu hari nanti sy akan berdepan dengan sebarang masalah, semoga sy cukup kuat untuk menghadapinya.. 

"Allah menguji seseorang hamba mengikut kemampuannya.." do believe!

p/s: pengalaman mematangkan seseorang membuatkan dia berfikiran lebih jauh dan mula menghargai setiap perkara yang berlaku di sekelilingnya.. ^__^
