my decision.. =)

assalamualaikum

i met my personal tutor yesterday to discuss about my future. alhamdulillah, allah dah permudahkan urusan dan tetapkan hati aku. =)

di bawah kesedaran yang waras dan sihat tubuh badan, aku pilih untuk sambung blaja dalam MEng Chemical Engineering (General). no use nak buat solat istikhara if my heart has decide. 

these are my advice to my colleagues. renung-renungkan dan selamat beramal.. =)

• plan your future. its either korang nak kerja or nak jadi academician. kalau korang memang minat nak kerja in specific area (ie: fuel tech, chemistry or biotech), terus amek specialization in that area. it will add flavours to your degree and you can aim the specific companies. if you choose general chemical engineering, you will learn everything but not too much. that means you still learn about chemistry, fuel, environment and biotech. the advantage is, you can fit into any area of chemical engineering. 

• i know that i'll end up being a lecturer because that is my passion. i still want to work, maybe just for 5 years.?! choosing general chemical engineering means i'll have wider knowledge about chemical engineering and this is good if you want to be a lecturer. don't limit your knowledge.!

• final project.! this is so important. for general chemical engineering, you will have more range of choice, while for specific area, you must stick to the specialization that you chose. since i want to be a lecturer, my final results in MEng is extremely important as i want to pursue my study till PhD straight away at Imperial College London. insyaallah.. (tinggi sungguh cita-cita). 

eh, faham ke.? kalau tak faham, boleh tanya ye. yang penting, pilih apa yang korang suka dan minat ok.!  =)

aku berdoa agar ini adalah keputusan yang terbaik untuk diri aku. 

professor allen is so supportive and i love him. i discussed about my lab report with him and he said, "don't be disappointed. you got a good mark. i'm so impressed with you. 2:1 is good." thank you prof allen. he reminds me of ayah... eh, rindulah..  =)
